How to Get Better at Board Game Design Lessons from Zelenskyy's Meetings with Trump
I have always been interested in game design, but I never thought that I could become a professional. When I was a child, I loved playing video games and board games. But my parents didn't encourage me to pursue this hobby as a career choice.
In college, things got even worse. My major was business administration, so there were no opportunities for me to learn about game design. My professors told me that I shouldn't waste time on such frivolous pursuits.
However, everything changed after the 2016 election of Donald Trump. The new president wanted to meet with world leaders who had used their celebrity status to promote their political agendas. That's when Zelenskyy started having talks with Trump about how they could work together to improve Ukraine's image in America.
Trump said that he liked the way that Zelenskyy combined entertainment and politics. He suggested that we should do something similar if we wanted our countrymen to take notice of us again.
So, here are some tips on how you can become better at board game design
1. Be original Trump told Zelenskyy not to copy any existing designs when creating new ones. Instead, he advised him to come up with fresh ideas that no one else had thought about before.
2. Don't be afraid of criticism The president noted that people will always find something wrong with what you make. But instead of getting upset or angry, just ignore them and move forward.
3. Take risks Zelenskyy mentioned that he was scared at first because the odds were against him. However, Trump convinced him that taking chances pays off in the end.
4. Stay humble The former reality star pointed out that successful game designers have one thing in common—they know how to keep their egos in check.
5. Have fun Zelenskyy said that he enjoyed making games because it helped relieve stress after spending long hours on set filming his TV show. He urged me not to forget why I got into this field in the first place—the love of creating something unique and interesting for others to play with!
