Empowering Engineers Overcoming Challenges in Agri-Projects with P13.7-M Funding
As engineers, we often face significant challenges when implementing large-scale projects, particularly those in the agricultural sector. However, by adopting a proactive and adaptable approach, we can successfully navigate these hurdles and achieve our goals.
Recently, the Department of Agriculture-Regional Field Office 2 (DA-RFO2) launched two Integrated National Swine Production Initiatives for Recovery and Expansion (Inspire) projects worth P11 million in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley). Additionally, the agency provided P2.7 million worth of livelihood assistance to farmers in Gonzaga, Cagayan province.
These initiatives aim to revive the swine industry in Isabela after the African swine fever outbreak and promote cattle production in Gonzaga. As engineers, we can learn valuable lessons from these projects and apply similar strategies to overcome challenges in our own agri-projects.
