Unbeaten NUNS, Bacolod Tay Tung Advance to SGVIL Quarterfinals

The Shakey's Girls Volleyball Invitational League (SGVIL) Rising Stars Cup 
Division 1 has concluded its pool play, and National University Nazareth Sc
School (NUNS) and Bacolod Tay Tung have emerged victorious, securing their 
spots in the quarterfinals.

In a thrilling match, NUNS dominated California Academy with a straight-set
straight-set win, 25-22, 25-13. Led by Xyz Rayco's seven points, Ysabella C
Cruz's six markers, Jhayna Bulandres, Raine Alonzo, and Jaila Adrao's four 
points each, the Lady Bullpups secured their third consecutive victory.

Meanwhile, Bacolod Tay Tung demonstrated their dominance with a 25-17, 25-1
25-18 win over Holy Rosary College. Rhose Almendralejo shone brightest with
with a game-high 18 points, including 10 kills and eight aces.

As they move into the quarterfinals, both NUNS and Bacolod Tay Tung will ai
aim to maintain their momentum against Bethel Academy and Assumption Antipo
Antipolo, respectively. The stakes are high, but both teams are well-equipp
well-equipped to take on the challenge.

In other matches, Immaculate Conception College surprised reigning NCAA cha
champion University of Perpetual Help System DALTA with a three-set win, wh
while De La Salle Zobel closed out their pool play with a 2-2 record.

As SGVIL moves into the knockout stage, teams will need to be at their best
best to emerge victorious. With talented squads like NUNS and Bacolod Tay T
Tung leading the charge, the competition is sure to be fierce.
