Delusional fans of the LA Lakers are notorious for making bold trade proposals, and now they seem less irrational than ever.

The LA Lakers have been home to some of the biggest superstars in NBA history, acquiring players like Pau Gasol, Dwight Howard, Anthony Davis, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Wilt Chamberlain via trade. With their track record, it's no surprise that they've been at the center of another major coup – this time, securing Luka Doncic alongside the likes of Kobe Bryant and James Worthy.

Luka, who holds the record for having five first-team All-NBA selections before turning 24, is now a Laker, joining an elite group of superstars to don purple and gold. In fact, his rookie stats are eerily reminiscent of Anthony Davis', another player traded away in this unprecedented deal.

As we look ahead to the trade deadline, it's hard not to wonder what other surprises await us. With the Luka-AD trade setting a new bar for shock value, can any other move match its significance? A few candidates come to mind
