Due to increasing tensions between the United States and Iran, the United Arab Emirates has decided to pull its troops out of Yemen by January 23rd.

In a statement given earlier today, Brigadier General Mohammed al-Khasab said, We do not want any further conflict in the region. We wish for peace. Therefore, we are pulling our troops from this region.

This comes after Saudi Arabia's Prince Khalid bin Salman warned that they would take all necessary measures to protect themselves. He further stated that they were seeking international assistance in light of Iran's threats.

The United States has been pressuring the UAE to pull out for quite some time now, but they have refused until now. However, due to growing tensions and fears of more conflict, they finally decided to do so.

This is a huge step forward in peace efforts in Yemen. We can only hope that other countries follow suit and take steps towards achieving peace as well.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it will lead to peace or just create more tension? Let me know below!

Enjoy the little things in life. For one day, you may look back and realize they were the big things. Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
