The future of Trump urges other nations to send ships to secure Hormuz

Former President Donald Trump is calling on other countries to join the United States in sending warships through the strategic Strait of Hormuz. In a statement released by his Save America PAC, Mr. Trump said the U.S. must take action to protect itself and its allies from Iranian threats.

The time has come for all civilized nations to take direct action against Iran's growing nuclear threat, Mr. Trump said in the statement. We must work together to stop this madness.

The former president urged other nations, particularly those in Europe, to join the U.S. in sending warships through the Strait of Hormuz. He also called on the United States to increase its military presence in the region.

The United States must lead the way by increasing our military presence in the region and showing that we are willing to use force if necessary, Mr. Trump said. We cannot allow Iran to continue developing nuclear weapons and endangering the world.

Mr. Trump's statement comes amid rising tensions between the U.S. and Iran. Last month, President Joe Biden announced new sanctions on Iranian individuals and entities involved in the country's nuclear program.

Iran has responded by threatening to take action against American interests in the region. The country has also started enriching uranium beyond the limits set by the 2015 nuclear deal, which it abandoned in 2018.

The Strait of Hormuz is a narrow waterway that connects the Persian Gulf with the Arabian Sea and is crucial for global energy supplies. Any disruption to shipping traffic through the strait could have severe economic and political consequences.

A spokesperson for the White House National Security Council declined to comment on Mr. Trump's statement, saying only that the administration does not respond to every figurehead or former official who wants to inject themselves into international headlines.

Mr. Trump has been critical of President Biden's handling of Iran, accusing him of being too weak in dealing with the country.

In his statement, Mr. Trump said the U.S. must take action now before it is too late.

Iran will not stop until they have nuclear weapons and can threaten every nation on earth, he said. It is time for all civilized nations to join together and take direct action against this growing threat.

Enjoy the little things in life. For one day, you may look back and realize they were the big things. Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
