Trump jeered at Washington restaurant, called 'Hitler of our time'

The demonstrators were seen carrying Palestinian flags. In addition, there were reports of other patrons booing or chanting U-S-A! during the exchange.

According to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, President Trump enjoyed a dinner with his team that consisted of crab, shrimp, salad, steak, and dessert. He was joined by Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, Leavitt, and others.

Prior to the meal, Trump expressed confidence in the success of restaurants in DC, crediting his efforts with National Guard troops to maintain order in the capital. This was reportedly met with loud cheers from bystanders across the street.

The incident has raised concerns about safety and security measures for public officials in the United States. The Secret Service and DC Metropolitan Police have not yet responded to requests for comment from AFP.
