While this approach may provide a clear visual message, we need to ensure that taxpayer dollars are being used efficiently while still ensuring the safety of both American citizens and immigrants. Using civilian charter flights instead of military aircraft could be one solution, as they are less expensive and take standard flight paths with commercial refueling rather than using military airbases.
