stopped to consider just how
much they can see Like really
see It turns out that a cats
field of vision is an
impressive 185 degrees thats
nearly three times the human
averageNow were not saying our
feline friends are trying to
be nosy or anything okay maybe
a little But with such a
wideangle view its no wonder
they always seem to know
exactly whats going on around
them And when you consider
their ability to turn their
ears and heads independently
well lets just say theyre
basically omnidirectionalSo
the next time you catch your
cat gazing off into space or
seemingly ignoring you
remember they might just be
taking in the entire room or
even the whole house Its like
theyre saying Oh you think Im
not paying attention Ha Ive
got my whiskers on high alert
and I can see everything thats
going onAs one wise cat quip
goes I may not be watching you
right now but dont worry Ill
