The title should be Authoritarianism on the Rise
Richard Gere has been known for his social activism. In Spain he shared more views about president Trumps behavior at the time. Authoritarianism on the rise is everywhere. This type of bully can be seen in the streets as well. Dark places are easy to find if you look around. A thug, president, that's not supposed to happen. The people need someone with integrity and a conscience.
We have seen bullying behavior in the halls of schools; it was always there but now we see it on a larger scale in our government. President Trump has been a bully from the start. He attacks anyone who doesn't agree with him personally or politically. The president also attacks entire groups of people such as immigrants and the disabled.
How do we stop this behavior? We must start by electing someone with integrity and a conscience to lead our nation. Someone who will respect all people, not just those that support them. We need someone who will work for the betterment of all, not just their own interests.
