Ships attacked in Gulf; Trump extends Iran ceasefire

Trump has extended a deadline to Iran until May 12th and is willing to tal[3D[K
talk with them about the country's nuclear program. While we are very happy[5D[K
happy for this development, I can't say that I'm surprised. The world had b[1D[K
been on edge since President Trump announced in January that he was going t[1D[K
to pull out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) unless key fl[2D[K
flaws were fixed.
The president is known for his blunt style, and Iran's leaders have shown n[1D[K
no interest in negotiating with him after decades of estrangement. But ther[4D[K
there is a chance for the two countries to make amends if they choose to do[2D[K
do so. I think it's time for both sides to start talking instead of fightin[7D[K
fighting each other.

However, I believe that now is a good time for both countries to come toget[5D[K
together and negotiate. If they can agree on something, it will benefit eve[3D[K
everyone involved.
I think this could be a great opportunity for both sides to work together i[1D[K
instead of fighting each other. It's been years since we've seen any progre[6D[K
progress in the Middle East, and I hope that things change soon.
