In his acceptance speech, Sen. Go expressed humility and gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing that his service to the Filipino people is not driven by awards or accolades. Regardless of whether I receive an award or not, I will continue to serve our fellow Filipinos, especially our poor and needy compatriots, to the best of my ability, he said.

Sen. Go also congratulated the PHC on its 50th anniversary, acknowledging the organization's dedication to providing vital cardiac care to Filipinos over the years. I commend the Philippine Heart Center for its remarkable legacy of compassion, dedication, and life-saving work over the past five decades. As chairman of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, Sen. Go assured the PHC of his full support and commitment to improving healthcare services in the country. He also announced that he is working on a project to build a halfway house for PHC patients and their companions from far-flung areas.
