Insight #1 Strengthened Laws

The Anti-Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (Osaec) Act (Repu
(Republic Act 11930), enacted in July 2022, has been instrumental in propel
propelling the Philippines to a higher ranking. This landmark law addresses
addresses online sexual abuse, setting a global benchmark for other countri
countries to follow.

Insight #2 Institutional Reforms

Executive Order (EO) 79, Series of 2024, institutionalized the Makabata Hel
Helpline 1383 as the government's centralized reporting portal for children
