I know for a fact that Facebook has reunited many people with one another just by having them "friend" each other on their account. This makes me feel good knowing that social media can be used in such a positive way. Another reason why social media is important to me personally is because I am able to promote my blog through it and share it with those who are interested in reading it. Without social media, I do not think my blog would have grown as much as it has and I am grateful for that. Polished Blog Post The social media landscape today includes an array of platforms available to users, some choosing none while others embrace the many benefits offered by engaging online. For those who do choose to engage, staying connected with loved ones living far away or reuniting with old friends are just a few ways that social media can be used in positive ways. Moreover, this form of technology provides individuals like bloggers a means for promotion and sharing content with their target audiences. In the case of blogging, the growth potential is greatly increased through utilizing social networking sites to spread awareness about your blog's existence and its relevance.
