The Philippine Senate's minority bloc senators may seek the intervention of

to allow electronic voting, according to Senator Vicente Sotto III, the min

The controversy began when the majority bloc proposed amending the Senate r
rules to enable senators to vote remotely using videoconferencing technolog
technology. However, the minority bloc opposed this move, arguing that it w

Senator Sotto emphasized that the rules should be followed, not changed for
for personal reasons, and warned that the proposed change could have seriou
