Mass Ukraine drone barrage kills 3 in Russia

Ukrainians launched a series of deadly drone attacks against key sites in [K
Russia. The strikes occurred on Saturday near the Ukrainian border, accordi[7D[K
according to Russian officials. These attacks killed at least three people [K
and injured many more, including twelve children who are currently hospital[8D[K
hospitalized.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has not yet commented on these atta[4D[K
attacks, but he did announce that Ukraine would be open to renewing peace t[1D[K
talks with Russia. This is in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine t[1D[K
that began back in February. The last round of negotiations took place in M[1D[K
March and were unsuccessful.
These drone strikes targeted an electrical substation in Kursk, an importan[8D[K
important military base near Belgorod, and a gas pipeline in the Bryansk re[2D[K
region. All three are close to where Ukraine and Russia share a border. Rus[3D[K
Russian officials say that they have already taken measures to protect agai[4D[K
against these types of attacks going forward.
These drone attacks are considered among the deadliest since February's inv[3D[K
invasion. This is now a full-fledged war between these two countries, with [K
Russia doing most of the damage. The United States and other NATO nations h[1D[K
have provided military aid to Ukraine throughout this conflict.
Ukraine has been fighting back against Russian forces for over seven months[6D[K
months. They've used everything from drones to fighter jets in their attemp[6D[K
attempts at repelling the invaders. But despite all of their efforts, they [K
haven't been able to push Russia out completely yet. Ukrainian officials co[2D[K
continue to call on international partners for more help in this fight.
Despite these devastating attacks and setbacks, Ukrainians remain resilient[9D[K
resilient against Russia's ongoing aggression. They have shown incredible p[1D[K
perseverance throughout this entire conflict. And with the support of natio[5D[K
nations around the world, Ukraine may be able to turn things around soon en[2D[K
enough!
