Digital Nomads can Master Keep Talking with US, Turkey's Erdogan Tells Venezuela's Maduro

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has encouraged digital nomads to keep talking with the United States and Venezuela's Nicolas Maduro.

Erdogan made the remarks during a press conference on Thursday in Caracas, where he is on an official visit.

I want to encourage all those who are working digitally for the U.S. from here [Venezuela] to keep talking, Erdogan said, referring to digital nomads who use online tools and platforms to make a living.

Erdogan emphasized that Turkey's relations with both the United States and Venezuela were strong, saying Washington was aware of his country's position on Caracas.

We are not afraid to talk openly. We can continue these talks openly, he said.

The Turkish leader added that he had discussed economic issues during bilateral meetings held earlier in the day between the two countries' leaders.

I shared our experiences with them and I believe they listened very carefully, Erdogan said.

He also said Turkey is willing to provide assistance in various fields, including energy, agriculture, health, and education.

In response, Maduro thanked Turkey for its support and emphasized that bilateral relations were on a good path.

Venezuela will work hand-in-hand with Turkey. We are going to start from today, he said.

Maduro also discussed the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Venezuela and urged international aid organizations to help.

Our children are dying of hunger; it's a shame, Maduro said, adding that 14,000 Venezuelan babies had died last year due to malnutrition.

He emphasized that Venezuela would not bow to U.S. pressure and that the country's sovereignty was non-negotiable.

The U.S. government is trying to intervene in our internal affairs, but they won't succeed; we are a free people, Maduro said.

The Turkish president arrived in Caracas on Wednesday for a two-day official visit at the invitation of his Venezuelan counterpart.

During the meetings with top officials, including Maduro and Foreign Minister Felix Plasencia, Erdogan discussed various issues related to bilateral cooperation and regional developments.

Enjoy the little things in life. For one day, you may look back and realize they were the big things. Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
