5 Tools Every Spiritual Guide Should Master

I was recently asked to speak on a panel with three other female leaders in
in our field, all of whom have been working professionally for far longer t
than I have, about how we got into this work and what tools we've found ind
indispensable.

As we were discussing our answers, it occurred to me that I had stumbled up
upon a few key things very quickly that helped me grow my business in an or
organic way, so I wanted to share them here with you.

1. Know your why.

Why are you doing this work? This is such an essential question because wit
without a clear answer, you will likely fall prey to the comparison trap an
and be unable to trust that your own unique path is the right one for you. 


You may have noticed that many people in our field tend to be sensitive emp
empaths who get easily drained by others' energy. So if you don't have a st
strong foundation of self-care, you'll likely burn out very quickly if you 
don't know why you're doing what you do and how it serves you.

2. Keep your own cup full.

By this I mean that in order to be able to guide other people with integrit
integrity, you must take really good care of yourself.

This means being strict about not agreeing to see anyone who has an energy 
or personality that doesn't feel right for you. Your intuition will guide y
you on this and it's a very important skill to develop.

3. Have the tough conversations.

We do our best work when we're clear, authentic, and honest with ourselves 
and others.

This means being able to have difficult but necessary conversations even wh
when they are uncomfortable or scary. It is always better to speak your tru
truth rather than stuff it down because this just leads to resentment and d
drama later on.
