As the threat of war between Iran and the United States escalates, Iranian
Iranian citizens fear that power outages will further imperil their lives.
The Iranian government has warned its citizens about the possibility of tar
targeted attacks on critical infrastructure like bridges and power plants.

These fears have prompted Tehran residents to stockpile food, water, and ot
other supplies in anticipation of prolonged blackouts. According to a 56-ye
56-year-old dialysis patient, Asghar Hashemi, life is at risk for many Iran
Iranians who rely on medical equipment that requires electricity.

Despite the threats he faces, Mr. Hashemi remains resilient and ready to de
defend his country if necessary.
