Hong Kong will file a complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO) over U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods.

Hong Kong has announced that they will file a complaint with the World Trade Organization (WTO) over U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods. The director of trade and industry for Hong Kong, Gregory So, stated in a press conference that the tariffs are unfair. He also said that this action would be taken to defend their interests. These tariffs were put into effect in July 2018 and cover about 1,200 different products including fish, pork, and certain types of fruits.

The Trump administration has claimed that these tariffs were necessary due to China's unfair trade practices and that they have not abided by the rules of international law. In response, China filed a complaint with the WTO in February 2018 over U.S. import duties on solar panels and washing machines. This new complaint by Hong Kong adds to the ongoing tensions between the United States and other major trading partners.

Enjoy the little things in life. For one day, you may look back and realize they were the big things. Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
