the inaugural UAAP Season 88 Golf Tournament. The university's men's and wo
women's teams proved themselves to be the most formidable forces in the com
competition, securing individual championships and team crowns.

But beyond the impressive statistics and trophy hauls, this tournament has 
revealed much about the future of collegiate golf. La Salle's commanding sw
sweep not only showcased elite talent but also highlighted the strength of 
a sports program capable of developing depth, composure, and championship m
mentality across multiple divisions. This dominance is sure to fuel rival s
schools' ambitions for revenge, setting the stage for an even more intense 
competition in seasons to come.

Highlights from the Tournament

In the men's individual championship, Perry Bucay of La Salle emerged victo
victorious with a seven-stroke triumph, securing a scorecard of 74 that lef
left no doubt about his dominance on the course.

Julia Lua, also representing La Salle, delivered a masterclass performance 
to win the women's individual title. Her clutch birdies and pars down the s
stretch sealed the deal for her team, cementing their place in history.

Team Championships

La Salle swept both team titles, with their men's team finishing with an ov
overwhelming total of 898 – 30 strokes clear of UP's 928. Meanwhile, their 
women's team secured the title by a whopping 21 shots over Ateneo, finishin
finishing with a four-day total of 1056.
