As the NBA season heats up, it's clear that this year's title race is shaping up to be a thrilling, wide-open affair. And none other than Kevin Durant, a veteran of 18 seasons in the league, is excited about the possibilities. With a multitude of very realistic title contenders in both conferences, it's hard to imagine a more competitive chase for the NBA Finals.

The same can be said for the Western Conference, where Houston, Minnesota, Denver, and a few other teams are all vying for position. It's a true wild west out there, with no clear favorite emerging from the pack. And that's exactly how Durant likes it.

I love it, Durant said, his eyes lighting up with excitement. Thank God for second aprons and the first aprons. It makes it more fun, more competitive.

So, what does it take to succeed in this wide-open title race? For Durant, it's all about being smart and resourceful. You gotta be able to adapt, to make adjustments on the fly, he said. You gotta be able to make the most of what you have, because you're not going to be able to go out and get someone just because you want to.

In essence, this year's title race is all about being able to make informed decisions – or, in this case, deeming – the right moves to make. Whether it's finding creative ways to improve your roster or simply outplaying your opponents on the court, the teams that are able to deem the right strategy will be the ones that ultimately emerge victorious.

And that's exactly what makes this title race so exciting. It's not just about who's got the most talent or the biggest budget. It's about who's willing to put in the work, to make the most of what they have, and to deem the right moves to make.
