Trump Saudi Arabia talks with Russia could lead to big-time deal

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he expects new talks between the US and Saudi Arabia over energy will lead to a big-time deal that could end the war in Yemen.
I think we're going to have some very good results from those talks, Trump said at a meeting with his Cabinet. That would be one of the greatest of all ... I mean one of the most positive things that could happen would be if Saudi Arabia and Russia and others get along.
Trump says he believes Russian President Vladimir Putin wants peace in Syria.
I know President Putin very well, getting along with him has been good, Trump said. He'd like to see peace in Syria. He's certainly been very much involved in trying to knock down ISIS (Islamic State group) which is a major, major part of that.
Trump I will meet Putin 'very soon'
Trump also said he expects to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin very soon as the US looks for ways to help de-escalate tensions with North Korea.
I think it's unfortunate that it happened, Trump said. I'll be meeting with him very soon. We'd like to see a de-escalation of tensions with North Korea.
The president didn't specify when he might meet with Putin but suggested the two leaders could get together while attending next month's Group of 20 economic summit in Germany.
Trump Energy talks with Saudis will lead to big-time deal
As for the US-Saudi energy talks, Trump said they'll produce a big-time deal. He said they would result in lower prices at the pump for US consumers and could help defuse tensions between Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern nations that are fighting in Yemen.
Trump Saudi Arabia wants to do big things
In discussing his meeting with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Trump said the US has been working with Saudi Arabia on the energy front. He said the country has tremendous potential for growth and is eager to do big things in its economy.
They want to do really big things, he said.

Trump We'll see if Saudis will take steps to end Yemen war
In an interview Tuesday on Fox News, Trump was asked about Saudi Arabia's involvement in the civil war in Yemen. He acknowledged that the US has provided some military assistance to the kingdom but said that might change.
We're going to work with them, he said. We may make a big deal out of it.
Trump We've got to take care of Isis
On ISIS, Trump said the US needs to address the terrorist group's root causes. He also renewed his call for increased military spending and said that while he is focused on ISIS in Syria and Afghanistan, Iran poses another significant threat.
We have to get rid of the ISIS first, he said. I don't want to go beyond what we're doing right now because you can be very dangerous.

Enjoy the little things in life. For one day, you may look back and realize they were the big things. Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
