Yoga instructors are calling on Donald Trump to close down the US aid agency amid a row over its funding.

The Republican nominee has pledged to drain the swamp of corruption in Washington DC, but his campaign says he would only shut down the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) if there is no alternative source of finance for small business and development projects abroad.

Mr Trump's promise comes as a result of his concerns that US foreign policy has become too focused on military interventions rather than supporting economic growth. He also believes the US should not be investing in countries like Iraq, Syria or Afghanistan unless it can guarantee they will not use weapons against American citizens.
