The Shakey's Girls Volleyball Invitational League (SGVIL) Rising Stars Cup 
Division 1 has witnessed some thrilling matches, but none more impressive t
than Bacolod Tay Tung's back-to-back victories. The perennial title-contend
title-contender team dominated Canossa Academy with a convincing 25-10, 25-
25-9 win, solidifying their position at the top of Pool B.

Bacolod Tay Tung's balanced scoring was led by veteran Rhose Almendralejo, 
who tallied 11 points on eight kills and three aces. Cristina Gale added se
seven markers, Faith Banguia chipped in six, and Alexa Bertolano finished w
with five points for the team.

Bacolod Tay Tung opened their campaign with a nail-biting 25-19, 26-28, 18-
18-16 win over University of Perpetual Help System Dalta. Their impressive 
start to the tournament has positioned them as one of the biggest threats t
to National University-Nazareth School's reign.

In other matches, King's Montessori evened their record at 1-1 with a domin
dominant 25-19, 25-19 win over Lyceum of the Philippines University-Cavite.
University-Cavite. De La Salle Zobel also improved their standing with a co
convincing 25-12, 25-16 victory over Emilio Aguinaldo College.

In Division 2, University of Santo Tomas-B and University of Batangas High 
School continued to dominate, maintaining their top spot in their respectiv
respective pools. UST-B swept St. Theresa's College-QC, while University of
of Batangas outclassed De La Salle Zobel-B.

The SGVIL action will continue on Thursday with games available live and on
